Unfortunately Toph Naunton is no longer able to manage the JWOC team this year because of a work commitment. However, we are very pleased to announce that Hanny Allston has volunteered for the position, bringing a vast experience as an elite athlete.

A bulletin has been released providing details of the exciting ACT Autumn Classics in Canberra on 25 & 26 March. These include both the NOL events on 25 & 26 March and the Australian Universities Orienteering Championships on 25 March.
Orienteering Australia is calling for nominations for the Australian team to compete at JWOC 2017 in Finland. Nominations should be submitted via the JWOC nomination “event” on eventor:

The team, based on nominations received by November 6th, is listed alphabetically. It has been necessary to give some people their second preference in terms of age class. Reserves are named (in order) where there were more than the minimum number of nominations of suitable standard received for a particular age class.
Although the Oceania Relays only have 10-year age classes for M/W35+, within each 10-year relay age class there will be separate teams for the different ANZ Challenge classes.
OA is calling for nominations from athletes interested in selection in the Australian Schools Team to compete against New Zealand in Rotorua after the Oceania Championships in April 2017.
