Dear Member Federations,

Please find attached the new IOF Anti-Doping Rules. The rules have been revised to be compliant with the new (2009) World Anti-Doping Code. In accordance with the required procedure, the rules have been submitted to WADA for review and approval. WADA has confirmed that the rules are in line with the Code.

The rules are also to be found on the IOF homepage at www.orienteering.org, and hard copies will shortly be circulated to all member federations. WADA’s 2009 World Anti-Doping Code and the new Prohibited List can be downloaded at www.wada-ama.org.

The new IOF A-D rules will come into effect on 1 January 2009.
