Manager High Performance
Orienteering Australia in partnership with the Orienteering ACT is seeking an enthusiastic and effective communication oriented person to manage our high performance programs.
Selection Criteria. You will be passionate about the development of Australian orienteering to be a leading nation on the world stage and have high level communication skills, the ability to meet critical deadlines, possess high level of organisational skills, well developed inter-personal skills and have an enthusiasm for the development of a national high performance orienteering program.
Your duties will include;
· supporting high performance coach and athlete development,
· managing the coaching and management team for national teams and squads,
· managing the Australian National League,
· working with ACTAS as Orienteering Australia’s National Training Centre on high performance competition and coaching matters,
· liaise with the AIS and state based sports institutes on matters relating to athlete development and
· administer OACT’s ACTAS and Anti-Doping responsibilities.
A salary of $28,200 plus WorkCover insurance and a 9% Superannuation Guarantee contribution is offered for this 0.6 full-time position to be worked on a flexible basis.
