Chris Naunton, one of Australia’s most consistent performers at JWOC last year, has been added to the Bushrangers team for the A-NZ Test match being held in New Zealand next weekend. Chris will join Jamine Neve, Vanessa Round, Simon Uppill and Ryan Smyth as representatives from last years record breaking JWOC team who have made the step up to senior selection in the Bushrangers team this year.

Chris was selected after Ben Rattray was forced to withdraw from the team due to injury. Although he will still travel to New Zealand to race and attend the National Squad Training Camp, Ben was not sure if he would be able to race at the best of his ability so he decided to withdraw from the team. It was a mature and responsible decision which reflects the ‘team first’ attitude which the National team coaches are encouraging in our Australian representatives.
