10Mila 2016-Live TV
Later today (Sat) and also through the day on Sunday the 10Mila relay will be held in Falun, Sweden.
The mens event has 10 legs starting at 4:30am (Sunday EST) with the last leg leaders to start at approximately 3:00pm (EST).
The womens event has 5 legs starting at 10:15pm (Sat EST).
There are some well known orienteers from Australia and New Zealand in both the mens and womens teams.
Julian Dent will be running Leg 5 for IFK Lidingo SOK. This team was placed fourth last year and was second in 2014. They would be one of the favourites again this year with a very strong team. Lachlan Dow will be running Leg 2 for OK Nolaskogsarna and WOC Coach Tom Quayle will be running Leg 6 for this team. Tim Robertson the NZ JWOC champion who is curently living in Norway will be running Leg 7 for Fossum IF. Ralph Street who has recently spent some time coaching and competing in Australia will be running Leg 8 for Sodertlje-Nykvarn, a team that finished in 5th place in 2015.
In the womens event, Krystal Neumann will be running 1st Leg for Jarla 2 team, Felicity Brown making a comeback to orienteering will be running Leg 2 for IFK Lidingo SOK 3. Two New Zealanders Lizzie Ingham Leg 4 for Halden SK 2 and Kate Morrison Leg 4 for OK Linne 2 will also be competing.

There are 346 Teams in the mens event and 328 teams in the womens event. Relays are a big deal in Sweden and Finland.
