Points changes for 2015: NOL Sprint Relay to Score Double Points
After a significant review, there are some changes to how team points are calculated. For 2015, both the Sprint Relay and the end of season Bush Relay will score double points. In both relays, only one team from each state will score points. The previous system, where State NOL Teams were ranked on the cumulative time of their two highest placing teams has been removed. The new double points awarded from the first teams to cross the line in the sprint relay will be awarded to both Men’s and Women’s standings such that they are double points in those standings. The full revised NOL rules will be available shortly here for NOL coaches and managers.
